I’m not Catholic, will I fit in? The Marycrest community embraces people of all faiths. Although about 50% of our population is Catholic, we have many residents of other faith traditions. Numerous non-denominational services and programs are available monthly.  Weekly Mass available from September through May; monthly Mass in summer months.

How will I adjust to a new lifestyle? Our staff and residents love our community and will take the time to help you acclimate and feel part of life at Marycrest. Orientation with staff, new resident meet-and-greet events and our Resident Ambassadors all help you to establish relationships so that you will soon feel comfortable and ready to take advantage of all that Marycrest has to offer.

What if my needs change? You, your doctor and family can work with our staff in learning about the array of healthcare and support options available in our community.

What are the costs? Will costs go up? Your costs are dependent on the level of support you are receiving. Our marketing and admissions staff will clearly outline your costs before you move in. Costs generally nominally increase on an annual basis, as determined by our Board of Directors.

What about security? What happens in an emergency situation? Our buildings are secured 24 hours a day by personnel.  As a resident, you will have an emergency pull cord in your apartment, as well as a personal emergency pendant, that will notify staff from anywhere on campus and alert them to your location in case of a medical emergency. The campus has 64 surveillance cameras to monitor our environment and help ensure safety and well-being.

What if I outlive my resources? Our staff can assist you with exploring public assistance options if needed. No resident of Marycrest has ever been asked to leave community due to inability to pay.
